Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Teddy Bear!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bear misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Bear is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Selwoods.

Bear shoots in and bounces Selwoods off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Bear prevents Selwoods from getting back to his feet.

Bear fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Bear has Selwoods pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Bear pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Selwoods tumbling to the mat - Bear dives into Selwoods's guard.

Bear decides to stand back up. Bear steps back and let's Selwoods get back to his feet.

and Bear counters with a single leg into guard. Selwoods didn't expect that.
Bear controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Bear drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Selwoods dives on top into guard.
Bear wants to get back to his feet but Selwoods is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Selwoods gets to his feet - Bear follows without any prompting.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Mark Selwoods is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Bear shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Bear showed some decent athleticism there.
Bear prevents Selwoods from standing back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bear shoots in looking for a takedown. Selwoods tries to sprawl out of it but Bear keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Selwoods manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Bear gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Bear breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Selwoods misses with a few strikes there.

Bear changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Selwoods looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Bear decides to stand up, so the ref orders Selwoods to his feet.

Bear shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Bear was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

and Bear counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Selwoods is looking to stand up but Bear isn't so interested in that idea.
Bear must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Selwoods falls off balance throwing a combination

so Bear counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Bear wants to control from the top but Selwoods keeps moving.
Bear looking to sit in guard and control but Selwoods gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Bear has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Selwoods can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Selwoods stands up from guard. Let's bang!

No luck for Bear with that takedown attempt.

and Bear counters with a three punch combo that has Selwoods backing up. Selwoods nods at Bear to acknowledge the strikes.

Selwoods ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bear moves away.

and Bear counters with a takedown into side control.
Bear controls the position.
Selwoods is trying to buck Bear off.
Selwoods bucks up and tries to throw Bear off but instead Bear has got his back!
Selwoods is trying to stand back up.

Teddy Bear has got the better of the ground game so far.

Selwoods manages to stand up with Bear still on his back. Eventually Bear drops to his feet and we're back in the standing position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Selwoods misses with a wild combination.
Bear tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Selwoods paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Selwoods pushes Bear away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Bear gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Mark Selwoods has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Selwoods throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!

Teddy Bear comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Bear winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
