Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McNulty tries for a takedown but Ponder sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
McNulty leaves Ponder with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Ponder changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. McNulty tries to avoid it but Ponder manages to keep hold of a leg and drag McNulty to the ground. McNulty escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

McNulty pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ponder shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as McNulty sprawls well. McNulty wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ponder gets slowly back to his feet.
Ponder shoots in looking for a takedown. McNulty tries to sprawl out of it but Ponder keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. McNulty manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Ponder shoots in but no luck this time.

Ponder is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! McNulty is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! McNulty has escaped and now he's on top!

McNulty has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Ponder to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! McNulty is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Ponder pulls down on the head and he's put McNulty to sleep! This one is all over!
