Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Keijjo Hardhit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lars Gyrvish (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hardhit comes into the arena with Soilwork - Nerve blaring out of the sound system. The crowd seem to be enjoying Gyrvish's choice of entrance music: Five Minutes Alone. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hardhit rushes Gyrvish and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Gyrvish tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Hardhit just stands there and leans against the cage.

Hardhit tightens his grip and picks Gyrvish up, before dumping him to the ground. Gyrvish manages to land in guard.
Hardhit is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gyrvish scores with a couple of body punches from the bottom.
Hardhit tries to stand but Gyrvish is controlling from the bottom.
Gyrvish wants to sweep here but Hardhit controlling him for the moment.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hardhit wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
Gyrvish has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Gyrvish lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK.

Hardhit rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Gyrvish wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hardhit keeps working.
Hardhit is in trouble now - Gyrvish has advanced to mount!

Hardhit is desperately trying to improve his position but Gyrvish has a good base and remains in mount.
Hardhit is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Gyrvish is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Hardhit can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Gyrvish cracks Hardhit with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Oh Hardhit is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Gyrvish loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Hardhit scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Gyrvish land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Gyrvish stands and salutes the crowd.
