Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between randy hedderick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Daniels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). hedderick's entrance music is check my swag. A fine choice. Daniels comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Marinda Lambert - Jack Daniels kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Robert Twigg and Frank Dennis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
hedderick misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Daniels takes the fight into the clinch.
Daniels is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
hedderick is trying to break the clinch but Daniels has him pressed against the cage.
Daniels gets underhooks to prevent hedderick's takedown attempt.

Daniels has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but hedderick regains guard immediately.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Daniels feints and as hedderick raises his hands in defense, Daniels changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Daniels stands and throws hedderick's legs to the side, diving into side control.
hedderick tries to buck Daniels off but Daniels is having none of it.

Daniels has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Daniels feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Daniels stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. hedderick swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
