The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Byron with a poor takedown
and Byhenikov counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Byron is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Byhenikov knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Byron on the ground.
Byhenikov won't allow Byron to sweep him here.

He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Byhenikov looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Byron can't hide his disappointment, as Byhenikov celebrates the victory.

Igor Byhenikov spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
