Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jake Dezman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dale Price (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Price is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by POW. Jake Dezman has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jake Dezman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Dale Price!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Phil Schofield and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Price is looking to land body kicks.

Dezman takes the fight into the clinch.
Price tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Dezman tightens his grip and picks Price up, before dumping him to the ground. Price manages to land in guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Dezman trying to control the position from guard on top but Price is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Price is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Dezman gets to his feet. Price looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Price connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

and Dezman holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Dezman escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Dezman looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Price!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Dezman trying to control the action but Price is working from the bottom.

Dezman is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Price knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Dezman wants to lay and pray for a moment but Price keeps working.

Dezman stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Dezman's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Dezman shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Price sprawls well. Price wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dezman gets slowly back to his feet.
Dezman changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Price tries to avoid it but Dezman manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Price to the ground. Price escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Price keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Price tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Dezman manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Dezman feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Dezman is working Price over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Price controls Dezman momentarily but Dezman frees himself.

Price leaves Dezman with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Price has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Dezman off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Price has closed the distance and engaged Dezman in a clinch.

Price landing knees to the body.
Price using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Dezman has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Price is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Dezman is defending well for now.

Dezman decides to pull guard.
Price stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dezman swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Dezman bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Price's guard.
Dezman throws a strike but Price rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Price gets to his feet. Dezman looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Price tries to land a leg kick but Dezman saw it coming and moves away.
Price misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Dale Price seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Dezman looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Dale Price has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Jake Dezman is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Dezman, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
