Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Thiago Conti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Logan Ironside (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Conti comes to the cage accompanied by Shake Ya Tailfeather. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ironside shoots for a takedown but Conti saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Conti fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ironside manages to avoid it.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Ironside postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Conti is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Ironside, into his guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Thiago Conti will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Conti tries to bum rush Ironside with a series of wild strikes but Ironside uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Ironside shoots for a double leg takedown but Conti sprawls well. He's pushed Ironside's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Ironside feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Conti's calf.

Ironside tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Ironside has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Conti on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Conti tries to get out of the position.

Ironside has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Ironside has hold of Conti's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Conti seems comfortable defending it but Ironside has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Conti is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Conti is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Ironside couldn't care less - he's delighted!
