Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Rodney Armack!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Igor Prikhodko and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Armack tries to move into range but Jones moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Armack shoots in and drives through. Jones sprawls well.
Jones stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jones wants it to stay on the feet.
Jones misses with an uppercut. Armack saw that one coming.
Armack misses with a wild combination.
Jones takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Jones takes a jab right on the kisser.
Jones dodges the punch combination from Armack.
Armack wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Jones loads up on a big right hand but Armack slips the punch.
Armack lands a left and a right that sends Jones crashing to the canvas! Armack dives into mount looking to finish!
It looks like Jakoba Jones has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Armack avoids the attempt from Jones to control.
Jones can't escape the position.
Armack takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

It looks like Armack might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

A bit of a pause in the action here. Armack controlling the positon.
Armack's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Jones tries to roll but Armack sticks to his back.
I would not like to be Jones right now.
Armack doesn't have the hooks in and Jones manages to turn into his guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Armack has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Jones doesn't defend quickly enough and Armack has managed to lock this one up! Can Jones escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Armack on a fantastic submission victory.
