The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big right from Lamb misses.
Swick bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Lamb avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Lamb, as that shot connected.
Lamb throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Swick counters with a nice leg kick.
Swick throws a big shot that misses.
No luck for Swick with that takedown attempt.
Lamb lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Swick dodges the punch combination from Lamb.
Nice takedown defense from Lamb. No joy for Swick on that attempt.
Lamb misses with a straight left.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Swick on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Swick is defended easily by Lamb.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Swick. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lamb attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Ethan Lamb seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Swick's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Lamb connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Swick scrambles back to his feet.

Swick tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lamb paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Lamb's corner calls for a 1-2. Lamb obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Swick closes this distance looking for a takedown but Lamb circles away.
Swick is breathing heavily.

The fight stays on the outside here - Swick looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Lamb lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Swick has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Swick and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Ethan Lamb is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Lamb connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Swick momentarily.
Lamb misses with the combination.
Lamb throws a shot to the body.
Swick finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Lamb's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Swick falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
