The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fighter wants to clinch.
MacTavish blocks a head kick by Fighter.
Fighter tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. MacTavish manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
MacTavish avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
MacTavish feints a jab promting Fighter to slip. MacTavish then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Fighter slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Fighter shoots in looking for a takedown. MacTavish tries to sprawl out of it but Fighter keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. MacTavish manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
