Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Mark Stanton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jacob Williams!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Steven Brown and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Stanton.
Stanton thuds a left hand into Williams's body.
Williams is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Williams changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Stanton tries to avoid it but Williams manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Stanton to the ground. Stanton escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Williams walks into a straight right hand from Stanton.
Good standup being displayed there by Stanton as he connects with a hook.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Williams has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Williams there as he acknowledges the shot.
Stanton throws a series of strikes that have Williams backpedaling.
Williams is rocked!
Williams is aggressively charging in as Stanton backs up avoiding any damage. Stanton tosses out a jab and Williams runs right into it face first! Williams is out cold! Stanton dropped down on all fours and is barking in Williams's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Mark Stanton!
