Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ivis BangBang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blake Pearl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). BangBang comes into the arena with Supa Cocky blaring out of the sound system. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from BangBang. No joy for Pearl on that attempt.
BangBang stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and BangBang wants it to stay on the feet.
Pearl avoids the head kick by BangBang.
Pearl looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Ivis BangBang has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Blake Pearl.
BangBang misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
BangBang throws a head kick that misses.
BangBang lands with a nice combination. Pearl backs away looking to recover.
Pearl fails with the takedown.
BangBang closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Pearl's guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
BangBang postures up in Pearl's guard and throws a big left but Pearl blocks it.
BangBang lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pearl is trying to control the position from the bottom.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Pearl is on top in guard.
Pearl won't allow BangBang to get back to his feet.

Pearl stands and throws BangBang's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Pearl passes to full mount! That's big trouble for BangBang!
Pearl can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as BangBang is looking to escape.
Pearl is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but BangBang is surviving well by controlling Pearl's body position as best he can.
BangBang's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Pearl tries to control but BangBang wriggling away.
BangBang is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.

Pearl can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as BangBang is looking to escape.
Pearl might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control BangBang haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
