Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Shang Chi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thug Behram (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Behram has chosen 25 Minutes to go as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chi moves into the clinch.
Behram wants to break free but Chi has control.
Chi is defending well against a takedown attempt.

Behram doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Behram is looking to improve his position but Chi isn't that keen on the idea.

Behram changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Chi fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Chi dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Behram. That did some damage!
Chi uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Behram.
Behram fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Chi.
Shang Chi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Behram looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Behram is looking to take a break and control but Chi is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Chi is looking for a sweep. Behram is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Behram is pressing down on Chi's thigh, looking to free his foot. Chi is holding on for now.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Thug Behram was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Behram lands a nice hook to Chi's body. Chi takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Jab, jab by Chi - just one landing.
Behram throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Chi on the side of the head.
Behram fails with the takedown.
Chi swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Behram throws a body punch but Chi moves out of range.
Chi throws a jab but it's blocked by Behram.

Behram throws a looping overhand right but Chi ducks down to avoid it.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Behram throws a solid leg kick but Chi takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Behram.
Chi buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

That was a close round but I would say that Shang Chi will probably get the nod.

Behram uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Chi.

Behram shoots in for a takedown but Chi shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Chi clinches up against the cage.
Behram goes for a takedown attempt but Chi pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Chi turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Good leg kick by Chi there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Chi feints and then cracks Behram's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Behram down.
Behram swings for the body but Chi moves out of range.

Behram is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Chi gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Shang Chi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thug Behram.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Chi creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Behram has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Chi seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Behram can turn it around.

Behram drops down looking for an ankle pick but Chi pulls his leg out and moves away.

Behram takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Chi stalks Behram and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Behram's face. Behram staggers backwards, shaken.

Chi fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Behram has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Chi dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Behram is breathing heavily.
Behram takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Chi fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Behram.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Chi lands a nice uppercut.
Behram fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Chi pushes Behram against the cage. Chi is working some dirty boxing. Chi pushes off with a quick right hook! Behram goes down! Behram tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Chi moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:09 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Shang Chi!
