The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rei fails to land with a series of punches.
Singh checks the leg kick.
Singh fails with a takedown attempt.
Rei scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Singh shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Rei pinned against the cage. Rei gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Rei misses with a wild body shot.

Singh takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Singh moves out of range as Rei strikes.

Djoser Rei has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sanjay Singh.

and Singh counters with a good low kick that Rei was not able to check.

Rei has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Cell Block Six in the buildup to the fight.
Singh takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
It looks like Sanjay Singh has been cut.
Singh is trying desperately to land a takedown but Rei is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Singh.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
