The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Marcos!
Satou with a poor takedown
and Marcos makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Satou steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Marcos.

Satou drives through and clinches with Marcos against the cage.
Marcos is looking to break free of the clinch but Satou has double underhooks.
Marcos wants to break the clinch but can't.
Satou goes for a takedown attempt but Marcos pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Marcos lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Satou gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Marcos changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Satou tries to avoid it but Marcos manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Satou to the ground. Satou escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Marcos wants to stand and escape but Satou is having none of it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Satou advances to half guard.
Satou is taking a breather. Marcos says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Marcos is looking for a sweep. Satou is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Well, if Satou is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Satou closes the distance and clinches up with Marcos, looking for a takedown. Satou pushes Marcos against the cage but Marcos circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Satou wants to control but Marcos is keeping busy.

Satou is staying active underneath Marcos, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Satou is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Marcos's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Marcos's back!
