Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Geodude Golem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Herbst (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Golem comes to the ring accompanied by Geo dude geo geo dude. The crowd seem to be enjoying Herbst's choice of entrance music: How can I become a Bawlaa. James Herbst has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, James Herbst!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yukihiro Shimada and Shigeki Fujiwara.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Golem uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Herbst.
Herbst lands a jab to the nose.
Herbst throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Herbst uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Golem tries to close the distance and clinch up but Herbst swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Golem throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Herbst looks to throw the jab but Golem is out of range.

Golem displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Herbst throws out the jab.

Good leg kick by Herbst there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Golem moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

and Golem counters with a low kick, right behind Herbst 's knee.

Herbst tries to close the distance and clinch but Golem swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Geodude Golem will probably get the nod.

Golem bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Herbst's head.

Herbst rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Golem moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Golem lands with a shot to the body.
Golem comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Herbst is breathing heavily.

Golem thuds his right hand into Herbst's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Golem doesn't manage to clinch there - Herbst circles away.
Herbst throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Golem stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Golem connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Golem feints and then cracks Herbst's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Herbst down.

Herbst throws a hook to the side of Golem's head but Golem sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Golem lands a nice looking body shot.
Geodude Golem is winning the standup battle so far.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Herbst crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Golem - the referee stops the clock and Herbst gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Golem. Herbst manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Golem connects with a beautiful left hand that drops Herbst onto his butt! Herbst bounces straight back up though - he's OK. After the ref checks him out, we're back to the action.
Golem connects with a crushing straight, right on the bridge of Herbst's nose, sending him crumpling to the mat! That's really rocked Herbst - is he going to beat the count??? 4,5,6,7,8,9.....10 - he's not made it - this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:44 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Geodude Golem!
As Geodude Golem got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: Geodude, Geodude, Geodude...'.
