The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Russell tries to move into range but Grozni moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Grozni moves away from the strike by Russell.
Grozni ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Russell moves away.
Russell fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Grozni manages to avoid it.

and Grozni counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Grozni fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Russell throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Russell dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Grozni lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Russell at a distance.
Grozni shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Russell stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Russell wants it to stay on the feet.
Russell misses with a low kick as Grozni jumps back.

Russell tries to bum rush Grozni with a series of wild strikes but Grozni uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Grozni get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Grozni stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Russell runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!
