Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Caleb C!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jose Hernandez!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Reed Andrews and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
C takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
C forces Hernandez back against the cage and clinches.
C tries to pull guard but Hernandez won't allow it.
Hernandez connects with a knee to the head.
Hernandez has cage pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. C is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a bit one sneaks through from Hernandez - that's hurt C badly! Oh, another knee lands and C is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but C doesn't seem to be complaining.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Jose Hernandez!
