PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hisoka Misawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yakai Ossini (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yakai Ossini told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Misawa just misses with a punch to the body.

Misawa gets caught flat footed, as Ossini shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Misawa working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ossini doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ossini manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Misawa drops back looking for a leg! Ossini is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Ossini manages to kick Misawa off! Misawa jumps back into Ossini's guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Ossini feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Yakai Ossini comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Ossini has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
