The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Brown. Valentin does a little dance to reset his feet.

Valentin is trying to maintain a safe position but Brown gets an underhook and turns Valentin into the cage.

Brown has hold of one of Valentin's legs. Valentin is fighting the takedown attempt but Brown gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Brown tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Brown has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Valentin is trying to control Brown's posture but Brown avoids it.

Brown thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
