The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haley shoots in looking for a takedown but Bean manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Haley's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Haley stuffs the takedown attempt from Bean. Bean gets slowly back to his feet.
Bean tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

and Haley counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Haley throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Bean works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Bean on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bean tries to get out of the position.

Haley drops back looking for a leg! Bean is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bean manages to kick Haley off! Haley jumps back into Bean's guard.

Bean is working to avoid the ground and pound but Haley connects with a decent elbow.

Haley has hold of Bean's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Bean tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Haley cranks the arm and Bean screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Bean, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
