Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Jake Wright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dylan Sampson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dylan Sampson is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jake Wright!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dylan Sampson!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, David Schapiro and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sampson circles away from the clinch attempt
and Sampson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Wright is trying to push Sampson away but Sampson has him pressed against the ropes, so he's going nowhere.

Sampson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Wright tries to land a front kick but Sampson steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Wright doesn't manage to clinch there - Sampson circles away.
Wright lands with a thumping leg kick.
Sampson connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Wright keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

The fight stays on the outside here - Wright looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Wright throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Sampson lands a jab to the head.
Wright throws a left and a right that both miss

and Sampson counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Wright creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Dylan Sampson will probably get the nod.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Good leg kick by Wright there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
