Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between spark plug (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that spark plug has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily spark plug seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

plug changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Wallace looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wallace patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here?

Wallace is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. plug is defending well though. Wallace let's go of the attempt for now.

Wallace misses with a takedown

and plug decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Wallace's guard.

Wallace is pulling down on plug's head. It's preventing any offense from plug, at least for the moment.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Wallace had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. plug is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Wallace Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take plug's back instead.

Wallace is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged plug with him. plug is trying to defend but Wallace has an arm under the chin now! plug grimaces and is forced to tap out!
