Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tycho Branco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oscar Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Branco might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Feel Happiness. Diaz is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Trick Daddy - Let's Go ft Twista & Lil Jon. Oscar Diaz acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

27 - 27 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Oscar Diaz!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Micheangelo Fripello and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz throws out a powerful jab.
Branco moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Branco tries to close the distance and clinch up but Diaz swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Diaz moves out of range of the leg kick from Branco.
Branco pivots, looking for a leg kick but Diaz is out of range and Branco settles back down.
Branco thows a leg kick but Diaz checks it
enabling Diaz to counter with a crisp jab.
Branco throws a leg kick which misses Diaz's front leg but catches the back leg as Diaz tries to avoid it.
Branco buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Diaz takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Diaz closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Branco did well to prevent Diaz getting side control.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Branco is positioning himself well to prevent Diaz advancing to mount.

Diaz shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Branco sprawls well. Branco wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Diaz gets slowly back to his feet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
