Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Richard Clark and Sam Margolis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tomas tries to close the distance and clinch but Gunderson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Tomas displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Gunderson.
Good work by Tomas as he checks the leg kick.
Gunderson fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

and Tomas counters with a head kick that drops Gunderson to the mat! Gunderson scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

A nice inside leg kick there by Tomas. That's going to slow Gunderson down.

Tomas lands a big right hand that sends Gunderson crashing to the mat! Tomas stays standing though and waves Gunderson back to his feet!

It looks like Bill Gunderson has been cut.
Tomas throws a combination that misses

and Gunderson counters with a shoot takedown. Tomas fights it but they end up in guard.
Gunderson is still in real trouble! Can Tomas finish him?

Gunderson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gunderson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Gunderson prevents Tomas from getting back to his feet.
Gunderson seems to have recovered his senses.
Tomas trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

Gunderson drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Tomas dives on top into guard.

Gunderson is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Tomas defends well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
