Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Drizzt Do Urden!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Adam Bethell!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Gregory Folan and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Do Urden throws a nice outside leg kick.
Bethell checks a low kick from Do Urden.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Bethell checks a leg kick.
A punch lands to the side of Do Urden 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Do Urden connects with a solid leg kick.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Do Urden.
Do Urden shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Bethell on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
A telegraphed right hand from Bethell misses the target.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Do Urden - that will leave a mark!
Do Urden throws a push kick but Bethell slaps the foot to one side.
Do Urden looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Do Urden explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Bethell throws out a loose jab but Do Urden uses good head movement to avoid it.
Bethell takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
A slapping leg kick lands for Do Urden.
Bethell takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Do Urden throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Bethell takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Bethell shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Do Urden eats them both and turns towards Bethell to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Bethell checks the leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A slapping body kick lands there for Do Urden.
Do Urden lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Bethell looks winded!
Bethell stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Do Urden.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Do Urden delivers a nice body kick.
Bethell has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Do Urden.
Do Urden pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Do Urden throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Bethell.
It looks like Adam Bethell has been cut.
Drizzt Do Urden seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bethell takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Do Urden lands a big head kick that sends Bethell to the canvas! Do Urden follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
