The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vapers tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sherk paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Sherk shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Vapers sprawls well. Vapers wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Sherk gets slowly back to his feet.
Sherk swats away the attempt to clinch by Vapers.
Vapers doesn't manage to clinch there - Sherk circles away.
Vapers blocks a leg kick.
Vapers has taken the fight to the clinch.
Vapers lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
It looks like Dave Sherk has been cut.
Vapers scores with a knee to the head.
Vapers utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.
Sherk is breathing heavily.

Vapers unloads a knee to the mid-section. Sherk lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Vapers lands an elbow inside that Sherk shrugs off.

Dave Sherk's cut is getting worse.
Vapers lands a big knee! That's hurt Sherk! Oh, he's all over the place! Vapers lands another knee that sends Sherk to the floor and the referee steps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mad Vapers!
A relieved looking Mad Vapers thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
