The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lennox gets a clinch.
The fighters are pressed against the ropes, as the pace of the fight slows.
Lennox tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Cooper avoids it.
Lennox is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Cooper is defending well for now.
Cooper is working for a takedown up against the ropes. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Lennox should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

With the fighters up against the ropes, Lennox throws an elbow but misses.

Cooper tries to pull guard but Lennox won't allow it.

Cooper wants to get up but he can't break Lennox's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Lennox really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cooper. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Lennox wants to get back to his feet but Cooper is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Cooper advances to half guard.
Cooper wants to control but Lennox is keeping him busy.
