Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Adam Schmierer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Larry Regan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Schmierer comes to the cage accompanied by Lil Jon feat. Ludacris - Move Bitch. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Adam Schmierer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Larry Regan!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Damien Edna and Bruno Hogan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Regan throws a jab when Schmierer was well out of range.
Schmierer doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Schmierer takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Regan swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Horrible takedown by Schmierer or perhaps it was just good defense by Regan which made him look bad.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Regan looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Schmierer lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Schmierer lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Regan circles away quickly and effectively.

Regan takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
You get the feeling that Schmierer really doesn't like being in this position too much.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Regan connects with a nice short shot to Schmierer's temple.

Schmierer has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Regan uses from the top position.

I would just about give that final round to Larry Regan.
Well Regan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
