The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doritto needs to keep his hands up - Macedon III had a free shot at his head there.
Alexander Macedon III seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Macedon III looks to score with a jab to the body but Doritto is just out of range.

Doritto takes the fight into the clinch.

Doritto turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Doritto manages to end up in side control.
Macedon III manages to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Doritto not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Macedon III makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Macedon III.
Macedon III looking to hit a scissor sweep but Doritto is one step ahead there.
Macedon III is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Doritto got a little sloppy there for a moment and Macedon III has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Doritto has managed to get both his arms back between Macedon III's legs - danger averted.

Macedon III has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Doritto doesn't defend quickly enough and Macedon III has managed to lock this one up! Can Doritto escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Macedon III on a fantastic submission victory.
