Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Joe Stardust!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Wagner Zegers and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stardust throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Joe Stardust seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stardust doesn't manage to clinch there - Berzins circles away.
Berzins circles away from the clinch attempt.
Stardust tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Berzins counters with a single leg into guard. Stardust didn't expect that.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Berzins thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Berzins passes into half guard.
Berzins controlling the action here.
Berzins throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Berzins looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Stardust wants to get back to his feet.

Berzins is trying to work for a kimura but Stardust is defending well.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Stardust can do anything to dispel that myth.

Berzins seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Stardust is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
