And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Samuel Hard!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Leandro Rodrigues and Emerson Jorge.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hard lands a big head kick that sends Carvalho tumbling to the mat! Hard takes a step backwards and waves Carvalho back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Anderson Carvalho has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Hard forces Carvalho back against the cage and clinches.

Hard breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Hard moves in looking to clinch but Carvalho pushes him off.
Carvalho on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Carvalho is breathing heavily.
Hard tries to clinch up but Carvalho circles away and keeps his distance.

Hard clinches up with Carvalho and pushes him back against the cage.
Hard has Carvalho pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Carvalho is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Hard - that's hurt Carvalho badly! Oh, another knee lands and Carvalho is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Carvalho doesn't seem to be complaining.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Samuel Hard!
Samuel Hard decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
