PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Gavin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Winston Wyrm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Wyrm's choice of entrance music: Don't Tread by Damn Yankees. Winston Wyrm told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wyrm fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Gavin to the ground. Wyrm is now in Gavin's guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Tommy Gavin.
Gavin swats away the attempt to clinch by Wyrm.
Gavin throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Wyrm sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Wyrm feints and as Gavin raises his hands in defense, Wyrm changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Wyrm misses with a takedown attempt - Gavin sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Gavin does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
