The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Espirit scores with a decent looking hook.
No luck for Rogers with that takedown attempt.
Espirit connects with a jab.
Rogers will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Rogers takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Rogers takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Espirit fails to land with a series of punches.
Espirit with a body punch. A glancing blow.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Espirit throws a right and a left that Rogers avoids nicely.
Rogers takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Arthur Espirit seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rogers takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Rogers dodges the punch combination from Espirit.
Espirit digs a good hook to Rogers's body.
Espirit lands a glancing blow to the side of Rogers's head.

Rogers fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Espirit sprawls well initially but Rogers persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Espirit is refusing to be controlled, as Rogers sits in half guard.
Rogers wants to advance to full mount but Espirit doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
Rogers trying to control but Espirit is working from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Espirit pulls Rogers in close to prevent any damage.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Glen Rogers.
Espirit swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Rogers.

Rogers tries to score a power double leg takedown but Espirit sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Rogers somewhat.
Arthur Espirit has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Glen Rogers.
Espirit lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Espirit lands a right hook to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Horrible takedown by Rogers or perhaps it was just good defense by Espirit which made him look bad.
Rogers takes one to the side of the head.
Rogers changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Espirit tries to avoid it but Rogers manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Espirit to the ground. Espirit escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Rogers takes one on the button.
Espirit pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Rogers back to the cage. Espirit follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

It looks like Glen Rogers has been cut.
Rogers gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Espirit gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
