Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bas Rutten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dougie Poynter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rutten comes to the cage accompanied by The Three Amigos. Dougie Poynter has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Bas Rutten's chin.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poynter swats away the attempt to clinch by Rutten.
Poynter shoots in looking for a takedown. Rutten tries to sprawl out of it but Poynter keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rutten manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Rutten tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Rutten fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Poynter on the side of the head.

Rutten clinches up with Poynter and pushes him back against the cage.
Rutten tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Poynter has Rutten pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Poynter pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Rutten tumbling to the mat - Poynter dives into Rutten's guard.
Poynter stands up from Rutten's guard - Poynter perhaps looking for a knockout.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Poynter is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Rutten is just riding it out for now. Poynter eventually gives up the hold.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Poynter pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rutten is rocked!
Poynter is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Rutten is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Rutten flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Poynter anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Rutten and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Poynter slips an arm under Rutten chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Poynter has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Poynter is squeezing on Rutten like an anaconda would it's prey. Rutten fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
