Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Pablo Alonso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keith Lemon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Keith Lemon!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Ackerman and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alonso swinging wildly here.
Lemon throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Alonso throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Lemon counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Alonso is lucky that one didn't land flush.

The fight stays on the outside here - Lemon looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

and Lemon counters with a nice body kick.

Alonso moves into the clinch successfully.

Lemon has Alonso pressed against the cage, preventing Alonso from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Alonso can't seem to implement his control oriented gameplan at the moment. That's no bad thing of course, for those of us who want to see a good fight.

That was a close second round but I would say that Pablo Alonso will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Lemon is pushing Alonso up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Lemon breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Lemon throws a sloppy head kick and Alonso moves out of range easily.
Alonso is looking to slow Lemon down with leg kicks.

Alonso is looking to control Lemon's arms but Lemon gets an underhook and turns him. Now Alonso has his back to the cage.
Lemon jumps guard but Alonso turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Pablo Alonso.
Well Alonso has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
