Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Danny Slevin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ramon Ramage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ramon Ramage!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Colin Fotheringham and Paul Tew.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slevin closes the distance and clinches up with Ramage, looking for a takedown. Slevin pushes Ramage against the cage but Ramage circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Ramage fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Slevin on the side of the head.

Ramage gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Slevin is pushing Ramage up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Slevin misses with some punches.
Slevin tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Slevin wants to break the clinch but can't.
Ramage is working for takedown but Slevin is calmly controlling the position for now.
Ramage is trying to push Slevin away but Slevin has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Ramage jumps into guard, dragging Slevin to the mat.

Slevin stands up and waves to Ramage to follow him.

Slevin tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ramage swivels and escapes.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ramage has taken the fight to the clinch.

Ramage manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Slevin decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Ramage throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Slevin fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Ramage shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Slevin defends it nicely.
Ramage looks winded!

Ramage moves into the clinch successfully.

Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Slevin obliges.
Ramage tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Slevin just stands there and leans against the cage.

Slevin throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

Ramage prevents Slevin from getting back to his feet.
Ramage scoring with punches to the head and body.
Slevin tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Slevin is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Ramage is aware though and is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ramage postures up in Slevin's guard and throws a big left but Slevin blocks it.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Ramage in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Slevin can't keep his opponent in guard - Ramage advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Ramon Ramage will probably get the nod.

Slevin looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

and Ramage counters with a three punch combo that has Slevin backing up. Slevin nods at Ramage to acknowledge the strikes.

Ramage closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Come on Slevin - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Slevin escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ramage keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Ramage shoots in but Slevin avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Ramage shoots in looking for a takedown. Slevin tries to sprawl out of it but Ramage keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Slevin manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Slevin postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Ramage manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Slevin manages to get himself to full guard.

Ramage is looking to take a break and control but Slevin is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
