The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Brewer drops back looking for a leg! Goranov is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Goranov manages to kick Brewer off! Brewer jumps back into Goranov's guard.

Brewer stands up from Goranov's guard - Brewer perhaps looking for a knockout.

Goranov fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Brewer sprawls well initially but Goranov persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Goranov is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Brewer doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Goranov.

Goranov is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Brewer has hold of Goranov's hands but Goranov slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Goranov throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Brewer could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Goranov seems to be working for a kimura but Brewer defends the submission attempt.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Brewer is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Goranov scores with a couple of nice shots.
Brewer is not content to let Goranov control the position.
Goranov wants to pass to mount but Brewer is defending the position.

Goranov looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Goranov wants to work for an arm triangle but Brewer is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Goranov winds up and cracks Brewer with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Goranov is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Brewer is just riding it out for now. Goranov eventually gives up the hold.
Goranov wants to lay and pray for a moment but Brewer keeps working.
Goranov working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Goranov stands up and beckons Brewer to join him on the feet.
Oh Brewer is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Goranov looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Goranov connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Brewer out cold! This one is over in a flash!
