The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hardy moves into the clinch successfully.
Robinson is trying to break the clinch but Hardy has him pressed against the cage.

Hardy is trying to pull guard but Robinson turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Robinson manages to break the clinch.
Simon Hardy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Robinson shoots in for a double leg but Hardy sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Hardy gets a double leg takedown into Robinson's guard.
Hardy stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Robinson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Hardy is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Robinson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hardy doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hardy manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
