Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ragnar Lodbrok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Travis Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas scores with a leg kick.
Thomas throws a head kick but Lodbrok moves out of range.
Thomas lands with a nice combination. Lodbrok backs away looking to recover.
Lodbrok has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Lodbrok shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Thomas throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Lodbrok's head.

Thomas fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Thomas pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Lodbrok back to the cage. Thomas follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Thomas tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Thomas throws a leg kick which misses Lodbrok's front leg but catches the back leg as Lodbrok tries to avoid it.

Lodbrok dives in and grabs Thomas's left leg, looking for a takedown. Thomas pushes down on Lodbrok's head and hops out.
Thomas throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Thomas slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Thomas looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Thomas lands a high kick!
Thomas goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Thomas will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Thomas lands with a nice body punch.

Lodbrok blocks the body kick.
Lodbrok blocks a head kick by Thomas.

Lodbrok shoots in and gets a takedown into Thomas's guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lodbrok wants to control from the top but Thomas keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lodbrok postures up in Thomas's guard and throws a big left but Thomas blocks it.
Lodbrok has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Thomas has his foot on Lodbrok's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Lodbrok works his way back into a safe position though.
Lodbrok knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Thomas on the ground.
Lodbrok scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Lodbrok slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Thomas has momentary wrist control but Lodbrok slips an elbow through the middle.

Lodbrok is working Thomas over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Lodbrok is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Thomas is still in real trouble! Can Lodbrok finish him?
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lodbrok lands a couple of decent looking shots.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lodbrok postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Thomas covers up, he's hurt! Lodbrok keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Lodbrok and the ref steps in to end the fight! Lodbrok can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
