Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Paul Cook (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ragner Thlekbuidi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Richard Clark and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thlekbuidi fails to land the takedown.

Thlekbuidi tries to score a power double leg takedown but Cook sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Thlekbuidi somewhat.

Cook breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Thlekbuidi fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Cook feints a jab promting Thlekbuidi to slip. Cook then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Thlekbuidi slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Cook throws a nice looking combination but Thlekbuidi bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Thlekbuidi fails with the takedown.
Cook jabs at Thlekbuidi's body.

Cook throws a right and a left that Thlekbuidi avoids nicely.
Thlekbuidi slips a jab and a cross from Cook.
Nice takedown defense from Cook. No joy for Thlekbuidi on that attempt.

Cook gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Cook tries to circle away but Thlekbuidi has him pinned against the cage.
Thlekbuidi jumps guard but Cook turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Cook manages to break the clinch.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Cook lands with a nice combination. Thlekbuidi backs away looking to recover.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Cook is defended easily by Thlekbuidi.

And that's the end of the fight!
