Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Chuck Lussari!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Richard Clark and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kowalski takes a swing at Lussari's ribcage but misses.
Lussari looks to land a combination but Kowalski avoids it well.
Lussari tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kowalski sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lussari somewhat.

Kowalski drives through with a takedown into Lussari's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Kowalski controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lussari shoots in looking for a takedown. Kowalski tries to sprawl out of it but Lussari keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kowalski manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Kowalski manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Lussari on his heels. He'll look to pass Lussari's guard now, I'm sure.
Lussari can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Kowalski controls the pace.

Kowalski seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Lussari moves in looking to clinch but Kowalski pushes him off.

Lussari is trying to escape the position but Kowalski is controlling the position.
Kowalski's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kowalski is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Kowalski has gone for a leg lock! Lussari slips out almost immediately though and dives into Kowalski's guard.

Lussari pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Lussari tries to clinch up but Kowalski circles away and keeps his distance.
Lussari changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kowalski tries to avoid it but Lussari manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kowalski to the ground. Kowalski escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Lussari's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Lussari duly obliges.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Kowalski, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
