Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Nick Robinson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Charlie Clock!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Josh West and Ryoma Takatsuka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Clock. No joy for Robinson on that attempt.

Robinson shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Clock works his way to full guard. Good work.
Robinson postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Clock escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Robinson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Robinson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Clock swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Robinson throws an elbow that misses. Clock uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Robinson's guard. Nice move by Clock!
Robinson wants to stand and escape but Clock is having none of it.

Clock drops back looking for a leg! Robinson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Robinson manages to kick Clock off! Clock jumps back into Robinson's guard.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Robinson is controlling Clock's trapped leg to prevent Clock from advancing to side control.

Clock is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Robinson sees it coming and defends easily.
Clock tries to pass the half guard into mount. Robinson knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Clock is looking for a kimura but Robinson is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Clock to get the leverage.

Clock is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Robinson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Clock.

Clock is working for a kimura but Robinson is defending it quite comfortably.

Clock is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Nick Robinson.
Robinson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Clock sprawls well. Clock wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Robinson gets slowly back to his feet.

Clock has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Robinson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
