The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Christian misses with a wild body shot.
Christian throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Waterson counters with a good low kick that Christian was not able to check.
Christian throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Jack Christian seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice body punch from Christian.
Sloppy strikes from Christian. Those never looked like landing.
Christian with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
The crowd cheers as Christian lands an impressive looking overhand right. Waterson doesn't seem phased though.
It looks like Con Waterson has been cut.
Waterson connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Waterson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Christian looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Christian fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Christian swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Christian misses with a low kick.
Christian shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Christian throws a nice outside leg kick.
Christian takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Christian is looking to slow Waterson down with leg kicks.

and Waterson counters with a nice body shot.
Waterson lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Waterson dodges the punch combination from Christian.
Waterson lands with a thumping leg kick.

Waterson misses with a wild body shot.
Christian's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Waterson connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Christian scrambles back to his feet.
Christian throws a lazy right hand but Waterson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Waterson feints and then cracks Christian's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Christian down.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Waterson.
Christian scores with a jab to the jaw.
Christian on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Waterson throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Christian connects with a body shot that sends Waterson's belly button to the back.
Christian swings away with a body shot that misses
and Waterson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Waterson digs a good hook to Christian's body.
Christian tried to score with a low kick but Waterson checks it.
Christian lands a nice hook to Waterson's body. Waterson takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
The fighters circling - Waterson throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Christian misses with the combination.
Christian throws a solid leg kick but Waterson takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Christian.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Waterson lands with a hook. Christian tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Christian is rocked!
Waterson walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Christian drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Waterson swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Christian's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Con Waterson!
A very excited looking Con Waterson made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
