Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Webster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John Webster is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva throws a series of punches but Webster moves out of range.
Silva walks into a left hand.
Silva tries to clinch up.
Webster misses with a body shot.
Silva walks into a straight right hand from Webster.
Silva throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Webster's waist but Webster gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Silva off to one side.

and Webster cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Webster connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Webster looks to land a combination. Silva sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Silva misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Webster throws a hook to the side of Silva's head but Silva sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Webster moves into range and connects with a jab.
Webster throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Webster misses the shot to the body.
Silva throws a front kick aimed at Webster's knee but Webster avoids it well.
Webster scores with a hook.
Silva ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Silva tries to clinch there but Webster circles away.
A swing and a miss from Webster.
Webster scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Silva doesn't seem bothered though.
Webster throws a hook to the side of Silva's head but Silva sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

A cross from Webster lands.
Silva tries to score a power double leg takedown but Webster sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Silva somewhat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Anderson Silva. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Webster chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Silva shoots in looking for a takedown. Webster tries to sprawl out of it but Silva keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Webster manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Silva dodges the punch combination from Webster.
Webster keeps the fight on the outside.
Silva shoots for a double leg takedown but Webster sprawls well. He's pushed Silva's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Silva on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The fighters circle momentarily. Webster darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Silva takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Danga de danga de dang - Webster scores with a four punch combination!
Webster lands a jab to the head.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Silva. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Webster bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Silva's head.

Webster smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
John Webster is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Silva.
Silva shoots in looking for a takedown but Webster manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Silva's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Webster feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Silvas jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Webster changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
The fight stays on the outside here - Silva looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Silva fails with the takedown.
Silva is breathing heavily.
Silva takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Silva takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Silva is rocked!
Webster pounces like a tiger and cracks Silva with a vicious hook! Silva is down but not out! Webster follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
