The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Palicki closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Soljah's guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Soljah looking for a guillotine here but Palicki defends easily.

Palicki in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Palicki sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Soljah's guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Palicki is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Soljah is hurt! He's hurt bad - Palicki fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Soljah from any more punishment! Congratulations to Palicki! Great finish!
