Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rock Esnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Smalls (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Esnar kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is 10,000 Fists in the Air. Smalls has chosen Lamb of God - Omerta as his entrance music. Tony Smalls has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tony Smalls!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Smalls looking for a takedown here - he's got it.

Smalls can't control as he wanted to and Esnar manages to get the fight back to his half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Esnar is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Esnar gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Esnar gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Esnar apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Smalls manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Esnar manages to get himself to full guard.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!


Smalls tries to bum rush Esnar with a series of wild strikes but Esnar uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

An out of breath Rock Esnar thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
