The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Johnson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Sigurdson takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Sigurdson is looking to reverse the position.
Sigurdson is working hard here to advance position.
Sigurdson gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Sigurdson is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Johnson pulls his head out easily.
Johnson wants to take a breather but Sigurdson is having none of it.
Johnson prevents Sigurdson from improving his position.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Sigurdson moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Sigurdson wants to sweep here but Johnson controlling him for the moment.
Johnson looking to sit in guard and control but Sigurdson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Johnson manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
