The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Bruno Hogan and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stugatz throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Stugatz scores with a head kick.
Stugatz throws a right and a left that Bjj avoids nicely.
Stugatz goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Bjj drops his hands momentarily and Stugatz takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Stugatz will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Stugatz lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Stugatz moves into the clinch.
Bjj tries for a takedown. No joy.
Bjj has Stugatz pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Stugatz manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Stugatz lands a hook that snaps the head of Bjj backwards.

Bjj avoids the head kick by Stugatz.

Paulo Stugatz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stugatz lands a leg kick that knocks Bjj off balance momentarily.
Stugatz lands a big head kick that sends Bjj to the canvas! Stugatz follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
