Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Homero Lacerda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vajas Tomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Chris Edwards and Andrew Berry.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lacerda throws a head kick but Tomas moves out of range.

Lacerda closes the distance and clinches up with Tomas, looking for a takedown. Lacerda pushes Tomas against the cage but Tomas circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Tomas throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Lacerdas head.
Lacerda is trying to pull guard but Tomas turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Lacerda jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Tomas walks away with a smile on his face. Lacerda gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Lacerda throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Tomas is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Lacerda.

Lacerda drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Lacerda thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tomas wants to stand but Lacerda is controlling the position.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tomas lands a big head kick that sends Lacerda tumbling to the mat! Tomas takes a step backwards and waves Lacerda back to his feet - he wants the finish!
